VONO keeps your context (notes, messages, meetings and memories) so any AI model can use it for you. This page explains what we store, why, and how you stay in control.

Your data stays yours

Everything you put into VONO or connect to it (notes, memories, chats, meetings, synced messages, health data and files) belongs to you. We hold it only to run VONO for you.

We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train our own models.

What VONO stores

Your account (email, name, photo, time zone), what you write or upload, memories VONO learns from your chats and notes, and data from the connections you turn on: Google (Gmail and Calendar, read only except for events you ask agents to create), Notion pages you share, and, through the VONO Mac and iOS apps, the iMessage conversations and Apple Notes folders you pick and daily Apple Health totals.

OAuth tokens for Google and Notion are stored encrypted. iMessage, Notes and Health are read only: agents can search them but never send texts or change anything on your devices.

AI models

When you chat, the model you picked receives your message and the context VONO adds for it. Background tasks such as titles, summaries and memory extraction use a small model. The model provider processes this data to produce the answer; VONO itself never uses it to train models.

Cost & usage in Settings shows every model call made for you.

Export and deletion

You can delete any memory, note, chat or connection yourself, and disconnecting iMessage deletes every synced message. You can also ask for a full export or for your whole account to be deleted; until both are self-serve in Settings, the VONO team does it for you.

Contact

This is an early version of VONO and this policy will get more detail before a public launch. Questions about your data: write to the VONO team.
